There is nothing like the peace of mind that having your s#*% organized brings you! Anyone who knows me on a personal level KNOWS that I am a highly organized individual. Having my makeup organized is a legit life saver on those mornings when I frantically spring out of bed after snoozing my alarm for the last hour. I don't have to worry about where my favorite eyeshadow palette is or bug bae like, "I left my compact on the coffee table last I remember, have you seen it?!" Everything has a place which creates a beautiful and luxury like feeling when I'm getting ready in the AM. I don't know one woman who doesn't want their own beautiful and luxurious space to get ready in every morning!
You're probably like, "But, I don't even know where to begin Tiesha!" It's okay hun breath lol.
Whenever I am organizing anything I like to KISS, (not just my manz *wink*). Keep It Simple & Seamless. I do that by organizing my makeup based on the category of the product. For example, all face powders are together. Pressed powders starting from the left and loose powders going into the right side. (See photo below). You can make it even more simple by organizing your makeup in the order in which you apply your product. Whatever makes it simple and seamless for you is how you want to organize your beauty products.
I have a set of drawers next to my vanity table that houses the products I do not use on an everyday basis. Those products are organized by category of product. BUT, on top of my vanity I have the products I use every single day and they are organized in the order in which I apply my makeup. My reason for this is because again, if I am in a hurry and I wake up late I do not have time to be rummaging through my drawers. I need my stable items in clear view where I can grab it, apply it and roll out QUICKLY!
Since I have created a makeup space for myself and organized all of my product in a way that makes sense for me, it has truly made getting ready in the morning such a fun and easy process! I hope this post inspires you to get organized and create a space for yourself that makes you feel like the star getting ready to play the leading role in a movie called YOUR LIFE!
